Photography
The photography
in New York and La Rochelle has been done by
using a large, high-resolution Lumière
Technology scanner. The Jumboscan™ six-band
multi-spectral scanner is coupled with a
spectrometer. It can capture very nearly the
complete spectrum of colors (95% instead of
the 50-70% as captured previously with
numeric or silver processes.)
This process
was developed in partnership with the
Munsell Color Science Laboratory at the
Rochester Institute of Technology, USA.
It provides
such high resolution reproduction that it is
no longer possible to detect differences
between the original watercolors and the
copy.
